How long will it take to paint my home interior?

We are extremely efficient at what we do. At the same time, quality is never compromised. Most projects range between 1 day and 15 days depending on the size of the project and the complexity. When we give you a timeframe, we are extremely accurate. If we say it will take two days, it will be two days—100%. The only factors that could alter this would be if we are asked by our customer to complete additional work or if something unforeseen happens—both of which are quite rare. We work full days. Our hours of work are usually 8am to 4pm. We don’t go out for lunch. We only take short breaks and a brief lunch. We show up right on time, prepared to work and come fully equipped to begin your project. No showing up for half an hour and then running out to get supplies. We value your time and know that you are anxious to have your home back in order.

How long does our paint product last?

Our high-quality interior paint is designed to last many years (5 years minimum but in most cases much, much longer) and built to endure the regular wear and tear of your lifestyle. Dirty fingerprints are no sweat and can easily be removed in most cases with a damp cloth as all our paint is durable and washable. For exterior painting, life-expectancy is significantly shorter as our summers and winters pose great extremes and are huge determining factors. Regardless, we paint with the best products possible and use the most effective techniques and processes to boost longevity.

What paint brushes do we use?

To be honest, each of our painters have their own preferences and favourites. Technically any good painter can use any good quality brush but we have found that each of our painters have their go-to brushes depending on what they are doing and how wide or fine of an area they are working on. Regardless, all our brushes are top quality and designed to leave a pristine appearance to the completed task.

Do my walls need to be primed?

Priming is only necessary when painting fresh drywall, MDF for casings, wood, stucco or walls that have never been painted before.

Do you fix nail pops?

Yes, that is just one more part of our prepping process. Best of all, we do not charge extra for any of these fixes. Our comprehensive quote covers all these important aspects to making your finished walls looks fantastic.

Yes. We are experts at staining. We start by prepping the wood or conditioning it if necessary followed by staining and sealing. If you are looking for a very specific stain colour for your final wood finish, we will take a supplied wood sample to Sherwin Williams for colour matching.

Do you give feedback on paint colours?

Your personal preference is what is most important to us and we want you to be happy. Colour trends are constantly changing. We will only give feedback on colour choices if asked. We have been providing Oshawa painting services to our valued customers for many years now and have a great sense if the colours you have selected will work well for the different rooms we are to paint. We are always happy to give you our feedback and thoughts about which colour is more popular at the time or might work better for a specific room. What are your payment terms?

We do not require a deposit before we begin your project unless the material costs are excessive (eg. A gigantic home). We want you to be fully satisfied with our work so we will invoice you the day of completion knowing you are very happy with your new Oshawa painting job. We require payment within 5 days but most of our customers pay the day of completion. We accept credit cards, e-transfers, cash and cheques.

Do you clean up when done painting?

Simply put—we care about you and your home! When we finish a job, we are thorough to clean up. We vacuum the flooring and ensure all waste has been disposed of We carefully move the furniture back into place in each room We re-install all electrical outlet plate covers and switch covers All doors that have been removed are carefully re-installed
