For example, laundry rooms used to be painted with a shiny gloss finish to hold up to any excessive moisture. Working outside your home takes experience and a wealth of knowledge, when it comes to what you are painting, and what you are painting with. Certain surfaces need certain products to last through our extreme Canadian winters! Proper prep work and planning is always a top priority when working outdoors.

AlphaPro Painting carries a five-million dollar liability insurance policy to ensure you are always protected. In the event of a mishap or catastrophe, you can rest easy knowing your home and contents are always protected.

2. Protecting your floors

Since the majority of our work is residential, we are overprotective of your belongings and decor. We carefully ensure all flooring is protected with plastic, drop cloths, cardboard or paper. We strive to do as much of our work in socks but do have indoor shoes for some stair work and any ladder/scaffolding paint projects.

3. Covering the furniture

Before we begin on a room, we move any furniture out of way to ensure paths are clear of obstructions and are careful to thoroughly cover your furniture to protect from paint speckles or dust debris. We don’t want the things you care about to be disturbed.

4. Limiting the dust

When we are sanding an area of a room, we try to minimize dust as much as possible by either installing a plastic barrier so very little dust can escape or using our Festool Cleantec system which is equipped with a hepa filter to suck in the dust as we sand.

5. Working in two’s

We have a minimum of two team members on every project that we complete. This allows us to keep each other safe when assembling scaffolding and making sure high ladders are safe and secured before using. Another benefit is your job is significantly streamlined and completed in a timely manner.

6. Organized equipment

We are an organized team that use a proven set of procedures for every home we paint. Little things like keeping all our equipment in one common area to avoid tripping hazards and keep your home as clutter-free as possible matter.
